Zlatica Forest-Park Revitalisation, Podgorica
Conceptual landscape and architectural design for the regeneration of the Zlatica Park-Forest in Podgorica, Montenegro.
The project aims to transform the underused 34.6-hectare green space in the Zlatica Forest-Park, northeast Podgorica, into a vibrant, multi-functional urban park combining recreation, culture, education, and ecological restoration. The site, bounded by Branka Ćopića Street, Nikola Tesla Street, the railway, and Bulevar Vilija Branta, forms part of the city’s long-term strategy to strengthen green infrastructure and adapt to climate change. Proposals should enhance biodiversity, integrate natural systems, and create accessible public spaces with recreational, cultural, and educational amenities while respecting the water source protection zone and existing forest character
