Wealden Professional Services Framework
Wealden District Council is seeking to appoint a wide variety of consultants for a four year framework.
This framework has been established to streamline and accelerate the appointment of consultants appointed to assist Wealden District Council and other local authorities accessing the framework in the identification of viable projects that will support the Council’s strategic aims.
Consultant architects will be required to provide services as described in the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work.
Appointments will vary according to individual project requirements.
- RIBA stage 0/1 to help the Council determine the viability of a project.
- RIBA stages 2 to 4 to develop a project in sufficient detail to issue tender documents for a build contract award. To include the role of Principle Designer (CDM & Building Safety Act).
Consultant services for RIBA stages 5 to 7 will vary according to the form of contract adopted for the construction phase. This may include novation to a design and build contractor or being retained to provide client support.

Submission Criteria
Up to five suppliers will be appointed to the Framework for each Lot.
For the Architectural Lot:
– Company Information, Bidding Model, Exclusion Declarations.
– Financial Standing.
– Two or more case study contracts from the last years, which evidence experience of commercial and residential sectors, including social housing (500 words each).
– Company Profile (750 words)
– List of contracts from the last three years that demonstrate experience working with rural planning authorities in the South East of England.
– RIBA Accreditation.
– £5m PII.
