The Venice Urban Park competition aims to transform La Certosa Island into a sustainable, accessible, and vibrant public park. Rooted in historical and ecological significance, the project envisions a revitalised green space combining nature, architecture, and community engagement. Design proposals are expected to enhance access, reuse abandoned structures, and create new installations, play areas, event spaces, and ecological pathways that celebrate the island's heritage and biodiversity while promoting inclusive, year-round use.

The competition is open to architects, landscape architects, designers, students, urban planners, artists, engineers, and creatives. Multidisciplinary collaboration is encouraged but not mandatory.

Deliverables for the Competition
– Two A1 Panels (59.4 × 84.1 cm, JPG format, max 20 MB each, landscape orientation)
– Graphic material including plans, sketches, renders, diagrams, etc.
– Must display order number (no personal info)
– Descriptive Text Document (250–500 words, DOC/DOCX format, A4 vertical layout)
– Project explanation in English
