Sligo Regional Sports Centre
An architect-led design team is sought to deliver a deep energy retrofit, geothermal integration, and refurbishment of Sligo Regional Sports Centre.
The scheme is part of the Local Authority Energy Pathfinder & Gemini programmes (2025–2028), aiming to demonstrate best practice in deep retrofit of public sports buildings. The project involves fabric upgrades, geothermal heating, enhanced M&E systems, BIM and DSM energy modelling, and compliance with ambitious EU and Irish carbon reduction targets. The works will be phased to allow partial continued operation of the centre.
