Pinxton Community Centre
Dragonfly Management (Bolsover) Limited is tendering for Architects for RIBA Stages 0-3 for a new build community Centre at Pinxton Church Hall.
The requirements of the building will be to provide a space for a wide variety of community groups including scouts, guides and young infants support groups. There is an ambition to have permanent office space for SNAP (South Normanton and Pinxton) Development Project which supports children and young people in the area.
It is envisaged that a food bank/community kitchen and café could be accommodated within the building which allows community support groups to provide food for vulnerable people and provide cooking classes. Storage solutions are required for the users of the facility.
The office space required for SNAP should be sufficient size for a minimum of 7 people, potentially in two separate offices. It may be helpful if the office space is separately accessible to the rest of the building and secure from public access. There is also an aspiration to provide some frontage disabled parking.
The overall site area is 558.38m² and the Gross Internal Area (GIA) of the existing building is approximately 204m².
