Oberroning School Modernisation, Oberrooning
The Schulstiftung der Diözese Regensburg undertakes the comprehensive renovation and expansion of Oberroning's Middle and Secondary School in Germany. Deadline 02 Oct 2026
The Schulstiftung der Diözese Regensburg is leading a significant project to reorganise and modernise the Real- und Mittelschule Oberroning in Germany. This extensive undertaking involves a campus that blends historical and modern architecture, including a listed former monastery and various extensions from the 19th and 20th centuries. A key part of the programme is the demolition of a 1970s school annex, making way for a new build. Concurrently, existing heritage buildings will undergo partial general renovation and conversion to suit future educational needs. The current tender focuses specifically on the outdoor areas, encompassing approximately 20,960 square metres of playgrounds, access routes, sports facilities, and green spaces. The aim is to create functionally structured external facilities, complete with sports and recreation zones, and necessary parking, all seamlessly integrated into the diverse campus environment. The overall project, with an estimated investment of around 57 million Euros and a specific budget of 3.2 million Euros for the outdoor spaces, commenced in October 2025 and is projected to span over five years, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade for the school's approximately 720 pupils.
