A new primary school and triple sports hall will be delivered as a major civic investment between Holtensen and Bredenbeck in Wennigsen, Germany.
The Municipality of Wennigsen (Deister), in the Hannover region of Germany, is advancing the development of a new primary school campus and adjoining three-court sports hall for the communities of Holtensen and Bredenbeck. Planned as a complete new-build replacement for ageing facilities that no longer meet contemporary educational standards, the project will support the future transition to a full-day school model and provide modern learning environments, shared activity spaces and sports infrastructure. The proposed site lies east of Bredenbeck, between the two settlements, immediately south of the L389 regional road, forming part of a wider civic expansion area established through a new local development plan.
To deliver the scheme efficiently, the municipality intends to procure the building through a total contractor model, in which a single appointed contractor will take responsibility for design development, approvals, construction delivery and turnkey completion. This tender therefore seeks an experienced client-side consultancy team to lead the procurement and delivery process: producing an output-based functional performance specification, coordinating and managing the award procedure under EU open procurement rules, evaluating commercial and technical submissions, and providing ongoing contract and construction-phase controlling once the contractor is appointed. Legal services are explicitly excluded, with the commission focused on programme, cost, quality and delivery assurance throughout both procurement and execution phases.
