For the comprehensive renewal of its existing Exhibition Hall, this design competition was launched by the city of Évreux, France.
The City of Évreux has launched a design competition for the comprehensive renewal of its existing Exhibition Hall, a prominent but outdated civic venue requiring full modernisation. The project will transform the building into a flexible, multi-purpose events facility accommodating up to 3.2k users, capable of hosting exhibitions, cultural events and large public gatherings. The brief includes renewal of the building envelope, reconfiguration of internal spaces, and significant upgrades to structural systems and building services (including heating, ventilation, electrical and environmental performance). Particular emphasis is placed on improving accessibility, fire safety and energy efficiency while preserving key elements of the existing structure. The appointed design team will deliver full architectural and engineering services from concept design through to construction and completion.
