Waterford City and County Council, as part of Ireland’s national climate targets, is initiating a multi-year framework agreement for energy retrofit projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainability in public buildings. The tender covers project management and integrated design team services across multiple disciplines, including architectural, M&E engineering, and project supervision (PSDP). The framework supports works ranging from €50,000 to €3.5 million and involves comprehensive tasks such as feasibility studies, design development, compliance with statutory and environmental standards, and stakeholder engagement. The initial project within this framework is the Splashworld retrofit in Tramore, with additional assignments issued via cascade or mini-competition depending on value. Successful applicants will be part of a panel eligible to deliver services over a 4-year period, ensuring alignment with the pathfinder programme and national sustainability goals.
