The Kanawha County Board of Education is inviting qualified design professionals to submit expressions of interest for comprehensive architectural and engineering design services. This project focuses on extensive additions and renovations at Elk Center Elementary School. The scope of work includes the modernisation of existing instructional and support spaces to enhance the learning environment, along with the construction of new program areas to accommodate evolving educational needs. Furthermore, the initiative involves significant upgrades to the building's core systems and associated site and infrastructure improvements to ensure long-term functionality and efficiency. The selected design team will be responsible for evaluating existing conditions, delivering full architectural and engineering design, preparing all necessary construction documents, coordinating permitting processes, and providing crucial construction administration services throughout the project's lifecycle.
