Donegal Education and Training Board Further Education Centre
An open tender invites an architect-led design team to refurbish and upgrade the building fabric and mechanical systems of a Further Education and Training Centre in Drumcliff, Donegal.
The project concerns a significant renovation and energy-efficiency upgrade of the existing two-storey FET Centre (approx. 602m²) in Drumcliff. The scope includes external insulation and rendering, roof insulation, replacement of all windows and external doors, and installation of a new air source heat pump and mechanical controls. The appointed architect-led design team will manage the project from outline design through to handover, including planning applications, procurement, contract administration, BC(A)R compliance (including role of Assigned Certifier), PSDP duties, and site inspections. The programme is expected to span 12 months from appointment.
