District War Memorials
A heritage conservation tender to restore and repair four war memorials in Northern Ireland through a multidisciplinary consultant team.
Derry City and Strabane District Council, supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, seeks a conservation-led Integrated Consultancy Team (ICT) to deliver the restoration and repair of four significant local war memorials. The project aims to enhance the historic, cultural, and communal value of these memorials through sensitive architectural and material interventions, including stone and metal restoration, landscape improvements, interpretation panels, and public realm enhancements. The overall project timeline extends from September 2025 through February 2027, and the work aligns with PEACEPLUS objectives of cross-community reconciliation and cultural heritage conservation.
