The selected firm will undertake a comprehensive programmatic study for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University. This involves evaluating the need for new facilities and proposing suitable solutions. Key deliverables include a detailed Program of Requirements (POR) for each building, a validated project budget incorporating logical sequencing, schedule, and logistics, and conceptual space organisations that can be further developed in subsequent design phases. The firm must provide at least five high-quality renderings of the proposed conceptual design. Additionally, the selected team will be expected to provide examples of previously prepared fundraising and donor engagement materials, such as facility visioning, project narratives, and conceptual renderings, to communicate project goals to prospective donors and stakeholders. The study will also encompass an evaluation of the Vet Med District and propose improvements to pedestrian paths from the southeast portion of the Columbus campus, enhancing the physical presence of the College and establishing a tangible gateway to the district. An estimate of probable costs is a mandatory component of this study.
