Convent Way Estate Regeneration, Hounslow
Hounslow Council plans the multi-phase regeneration of Convent Way Estate in the UK, delivering 550-568 homes including social rent and market housing. Deadline 25 Sep 2026
The London Borough of Hounslow is moving forward with the comprehensive regeneration of the Convent Way Estate, having recently completed a positive resident ballot and masterplan redesign. This significant project aims to deliver approximately 550-568 new homes across up to five phases, including the full reprovision of 250 existing social rent homes, additional social rent units, shared equity homes, and subsequent market housing. The scheme is supported by a revised hybrid planning application and a phased Compulsory Purchase Order strategy. As a precursor to formal procurement, the Council is undertaking a Soft Market Engagement (SME) exercise. This process seeks to gather market feedback on the deliverability, phasing, commercial structure, and risk allocation of the project, as well as test interest in combining the main regeneration with interim capital works, such as roof and concrete repairs, estimated at up to £5 million. Interested organisations are invited to complete an Expression of Interest to potentially participate in one-to-one discussions, which will help inform the final procurement approach for a Development / Investment Partner.
