Convent Way Estate Regeneration, Hounslow
The London Borough of Hounslow is preparing for a major regeneration of Convent Way Estate in the UK, creating approximately 550-568 new homes including social rent and market housing. Deadline 25 Sep 2026
The London Borough of Hounslow is undertaking a soft market engagement exercise ahead of procuring a Development / Investment Partner for the comprehensive regeneration of the Convent Way Estate. Following a positive resident ballot and revised masterplan, the scheme proposes between 550 and 568 homes, which includes the full reprovision of 250 existing social rent homes, additional social rent units, shared equity homes, and later phase market housing. The project is planned for delivery across up to five phases, supported by a revised hybrid planning application and a phased Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) strategy. The Council will also explore tendering interim capital works, estimated up to £5 million, alongside the main regeneration procurement. This engagement aims to gather market feedback on deliverability, commercial structure, and risk allocation to inform the final procurement approach for this significant long-term development.
