The selection process is a two-stage concept award procedure, where the quality of the submitted concepts holds more weight than the purchase price. Interested investors will first express their interest and demonstrate their qualifications. A maximum of four suitable investors will then be invited to submit detailed concepts and offers. The evaluation criteria include the architectural design, energy and ecological concepts, marketing strategy, and operational model for the technology and commercial park. The project aims to position Steinfurt as a long-term innovation, start-up, and technology hub, attracting technology-oriented companies, start-ups, and academic spin-offs.
