Cumberland Council's Programme Management Office is seeking to appoint two professional services providers, specifically Architects, Building Surveyors, and Mechanical & Electrical Engineers. These consultants will facilitate the delivery of the schools' prioritised capital improvements programme for the 2027/28 financial year. Construction work is primarily anticipated during school holidays, particularly summer breaks, though some projects may proceed within live school environments with agreement. Each successful consultant will receive a balanced programme of works, with project allocation decisions resting with the Council. The contract is expected to commence on 23 November 2026 and run for a period of two years, with an estimated maximum value of £1,500,000.
