Countryside Land Management, Lake District
The Lake District National Park Authority is establishing a multi-supplier framework for countryside land management and estate maintenance services across the UK. Deadline 02 Oct 2026
The Lake District National Park Authority is procuring a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for Countryside Land Management and Estate Maintenance, supporting its Ranger Services Team and other bodies. This comprehensive framework is divided into several lots, covering a wide array of services from bridge supply, installation, and repair, to the provision of construction materials, practical works for countryside access and nature conservation, and specialist consultancy. The scope includes surfacing, drainage, fencing, walling, hedgerow management, vegetation control, tree works, and habitat restoration. Additionally, the framework seeks expertise in historic environment surveys, ecological assessments, and project management. Training services for staff and the supply, maintenance, and servicing of plant, machinery, and vehicles are also included, alongside specialist helicopter operations for material transport to remote locations. This initiative aims to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of services, promoting local sourcing and contributing to the National Park's vision for sustainable development, visitor experience, and the preservation of its spectacular landscape and cultural heritage. The Authority encourages bids from companies, consultants, sole traders, and SMEs, allowing suppliers to bid for one or more lots.
