AWARDS

The Architect of the Year Awards 2026, presented by The Architecture Community, is a prestigious international architecture competition celebrating design excellence across the globe. Open to architects, engineers and designers of all scales and disciplines, the awards honour visionary work that redefines contemporary architectural practice through innovative use of technology, materials, spatial organisation and sustainable thinking.

With a diverse range of categories — from Firm of the Year and Residential Design to Urban Design, Landscape and Interiors — the awards spotlight projects that not only push aesthetic boundaries but also respond meaningfully to community, environment and context.

Judged by two expert panels, submissions are evaluated for originality, narrative strength, programme richness and social impact. Winners receive a Trophy, Certificate, winner’s book and poster, and gain significant exposure through The Architecture Community‘s global platform and media partners.

Running from December 2025 to December 2026, the Architect of the Year Awards offers an exceptional opportunity for design professionals to showcase their work on the world stage.
