Train Station Reconstruction, Most
An open architectural design competition to renovate Most’s historic station building, in Czech Republic, improving passenger facilities, circulation and environmental performance.
The client (Správa železnic) is seeking a holistic architectural proposal to renovate the existing station building in Most, with a clear focus on the main hall, façade system, a new passenger footbridge connection to platforms, and reorganisation of internal layouts (including the “Trakt C”) to contemporary operational, accessibility and environmental standards. The competition brief defines a single-stage process judged on architectural quality, functionality, energy/environmental responsibility and cost reasonableness, with anonymity and strict submission formatting across graphic and text parts.
