Schlossensemble Ivenack, Mecklenburg
Restoration and revitalisation of a protected castle for cultural use, in northern Germany
The primary objective is the heritage-compliant refurbishment and transformation of this nationally protected cultural monument into a venue for exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events. The Schloss will feature a permanent exhibition on the regional history of Ivenack and host temporary exhibitions. Construction works involve preservation of structural elements (roof and facade), restoration of architectural details (windows, balconies, staircases), and renewal of utilities, particularly in the Orangerie and Teehaus. The surrounding park, especially the Lindenallee and baroque landscaping, will also be restored.
