New Fire Stations, Winsen (Aller) & Wolthausen
The Celle district is procuring the design and turnkey delivery of two fire stations in Wolthausen and Winsen (Aller), Germany.
The Municipality of Winsen (Aller) is commissioning the design and turnkey construction of two new fire stations: a larger district fire station in Winsen and a smaller local station in nearby Wolthausen, each on pre-designated sites. The scheme will provide contemporary operational buildings combining vehicle halls with 12 bays in Winsen and 2 bays in Wolthausen, alongside workshops, storage, changing facilities, youth fire brigade rooms, offices, training spaces and social areas. External works will include access roads, parking and operational yards, as well as areas for emergency drills and rescue exercises. Together, the two facilities will deliver approximately 1.85k m² of usable floor area in Winsen and 420 square metres in Wolthausen. The appointed team will be responsible for the full design, engineering and turnkey delivery of both buildings, with construction expected to begin in late 2026 and occupation planned for late 2028 in Wolthausen and mid-2029 in Winsen.
