Murrough Innovation Centre
A one-stage open tender is being conducted for the appointment of a full design team to deliver a new innovation centre in Wicklow Town.
The Murrough Innovation Centre is a proposed four-storey innovation hub with a total gross internal floor area of 2,248.5 m². The facility is intended to support regional enterprise and innovation and includes office accommodation, cafeteria, exhibition spaces, ancillary rooms, and rooftop plant areas. The project is being led by Wicklow Enterprise Park CLG, with funding from the Smart Regions Scheme. The site has secured planning permission, and the tendered consultant will take the project from statutory approvals through design, construction, and handover. A critical milestone is the delivery of a pre-tender cost plan and initial BoQ by December 2025, supporting a funding application to progress construction.
