Imperial War Museum Framework
This tender seeks multidisciplinary consultancy teams for a framework agreement supporting capital projects across five major Imperial War Museum sites in England.
The Imperial War Museums (IWM) are procuring a multidisciplinary consultancy framework to support various construction and property projects across their estate over a three-year period (with the possibility of a one-year extension). The estate comprises five diverse and historically significant sites—ranging from listed buildings and museums in central London (e.g. Churchill War Rooms, HMS Belfast), to a wartime airfield and hangars at Duxford, and modern galleries at IWM North in Manchester. The brief encompasses broad professional services including architecture, engineering (MEP, structural, civil), planning, heritage and conservation advice, and principal designer/CDM duties. This framework will underpin the successful delivery of both routine works and major capital interventions in complex and often sensitive heritage settings.
