Former Bank of Ireland, Lismore
Retrofit of the historic former Bank of Ireland building in Lismore, Ireland, transforming it into boutique-style short-stay accommodation to support local tourism
As well as the first phase refurbishment of the existing building, a second phase complements an earlier phase involving glamping pods on the same site. The building will be refurbished to provide a mix of guest bedrooms and suites for up to 12 guests, alongside kitchen and dining facilities. The initiative supports national policy for tackling vacancy and dereliction and will operate as a social enterprise in collaboration with Waterford City & County Council and the local community.
