Cranbrook Leisure forms part of a broader health and wellbeing campus in the emerging town of Cranbrook, East Devon. Designed to serve a forecast population of 18,000 residents, the leisure centre is co-located with the future Neighbourhood Health Centre and other community facilities. The centre will include a six-lane 25m pool, learner pool with moveable floor, large gym, fitness studios, shared changing, and a multi-use social area. The project will be developed up to RIBA Stage 3 with an expected transition to a Design and Build contract. The design must reflect environmental performance aspirations (BREEAM Excellent), community integration, and Sport England compliance. Key planning and business case approvals align to the delivery programme from 2025–2028.
