The project is situated on the County's campus in Unity and aims to create a dedicated space approximately 2,000 to 2,500 square feet in size. The design scope also includes a fenced outdoor playground area, essential on-site staff parking, and efficient drop-off and pick-up access to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the facility. This initiative is supported by a significant $1.6 million in funding, awarded through the federal FY2026 Consolidated Appropriations Act as part of the Economic Development Initiative - Community Project Funding, and will be overseen by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Community Planning and Development.
