Urban Plan, Gorno Trape
Bulgaria's Troyan Municipality is developing a detailed urban plan for Gorno Trape village, defining building boundaries and a new street network for sustainable growth. Deadline 28 Sep 2026
The Troyan Municipality in Bulgaria is seeking a team to develop a Detailed Urban Development Plan and Regulation Plan (PUP-PR) for the village of Gorno Trape. This initiative is crucial as the village currently lacks a regulation plan, necessitating the definition of construction boundaries, the creation of new neighbourhoods, and the establishment of a comprehensive street network. The project aims to align with the approved General Urban Development Plan of Troyan Municipality (OUPOT), specifically designating areas like Raykovska, Balabanite, Guneshka, and Dlazhkovska for residential or villa development. Key objectives include establishing clear urbanised territory boundaries, designing an efficient street and transport network for property access, and promoting sustainable development that respects the semi-mountainous identity of the settlement, integrates modern technical infrastructure, and protects the environment. The selected design team will conduct a full geodesic survey and propose a plan that harmonises with the natural terrain and existing property lines to minimise expropriation procedures. The project also involves potential amendments to the cadastral map for areas affected by street regulation, requiring coordination with the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency in Lovech. The final plan will undergo preliminary review and approval by the Municipal Expert Council for Spatial Planning at Troyan Municipality.
