Mobile Metropolis Transfer Centres, Bytom
The Bytom Municipality in Poland is developing new transfer centres across two locations, Plac Wolskiego and Karb, with EU co-financing. Deadline 04 Sep 2026
The Bytom Municipality in Poland is undertaking a significant project to design and construct new transfer centres within the city, as part of its "Mobile Metropolis" initiative. This comprehensive programme is divided into two distinct parts, focusing on the development of transfer hubs at Plac Wolskiego and Karb. The project encompasses architectural design, building construction, and extensive civil engineering works, including the creation or upgrade of roads, parking facilities, bus shelters, and associated urban infrastructure. Co-financed by European Union funds under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, and Environment 2021-2027 programme, specifically targeting urban transport, this initiative aims to modernise and improve public transport connectivity and accessibility across Bytom. Each lot has an estimated duration of 24 months, requiring contractors with proven experience in large-scale building and road infrastructure projects, alongside qualified architectural and construction management personnel. The scope also includes site preparation, demolition, and the installation of various utilities such as electrical, telecommunications, and plumbing systems, ensuring fully functional and integrated transport facilities.
