The City of Upper Arlington is initiating a project to address key recommendations from a September 2026 assessment of the Devon Pool. The primary focus of this renovation is the replacement of the pool finish, drain sumps, and drain covers to ensure full compliance with SOFA and VGBA requirements. The project involves removing the existing PVC liner from the main pool, thoroughly reviewing and correcting any dilapidations in the concrete pool shell, and installing new prefabricated sumps and covers. A new quartz aggregate finish will be applied to both the main pool and the diving well, enhancing durability and aesthetic appeal. This essential upgrade aims to modernise the facility and meet contemporary safety standards.
