Conversion de clinique, Iéna
La Société Max-Planck entreprend une transformation majeure de deux bâtiments cliniques historiques à Iéna, en Allemagne, pour son nouvel institut de géoanthropologie. Date limite : 08 oct. 2026
The Max Planck Society is commissioning the comprehensive general renovation and conversion of two historically listed former clinic buildings in Jena, Germany, into a new institute for geoanthropology. The project involves two distinct structures: the former Urology clinic, with a listed section from 1914 and a 1991 extension, and the former ENT clinic, built in 1928. Both are four-storey buildings with partial basements and undeveloped gable floors. As both the buildings and their garden areas are protected, close collaboration with the state heritage authorities is essential. The new institute will feature a mix of administrative offices, seminar rooms, a shared laboratory pool with storage, server rooms, and a 'Decision Theatre'. High-installation experimental areas, including labs and servers, will be housed in the 1991 extension, while lower-installation office and communication spaces will occupy the historic sections. The architectural services encompass all phases of planning and interior design, from initial concepts to project supervision, and will be conducted as an Open-BIM project, including overall BIM coordination and quality assurance.
