The Région Ile de France is initiating a major project involving the deconstruction and subsequent reconstruction of the workshops at Lycée Georges Brassens in Evry-Courcouronnes, France. This comprehensive design-build contract aims to modernise the vocational training facilities within the school. The project encompasses a wide range of works, including demolition, earthmoving, structural shell work, and various building installations such as electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. It also includes specific tasks like asbestos removal, soil decontamination, and landscaping. The scope extends to architectural and engineering services, covering design, approval plans, and environmental monitoring. This four-year programme seeks to deliver a completely revitalised and updated learning environment for students, ensuring the facilities meet contemporary educational and safety standards. The competitive dialogue procedure will select a team to deliver this extensive upgrade, which is open to small and medium-sized enterprises.
