The Stadt Edenkoben is developing a new four-group kindergarten on a 2,711 m² site in Edenkoben, Germany, adjacent to Rhodter Straße. The project seeks architectural services for the building's design, which is envisioned primarily as a single-storey structure, adhering to the state of Rhineland-Palatinate's guidelines for kindergarten planning. A significant aspect of the project involves planning the access routes, with pedestrian and parent parking access intended for a northern plot, necessitating a pedestrian link across an adjacent vocational school's grounds. Goods delivery will be managed via Rhodter Straße, with provisions for additional parking at the southern boundary. The scope also includes the design of a fresh-cook kitchen capable of preparing approximately 200 meals daily, serving both the new facility and existing kindergartens. The estimated net costs for the building components (KG 300, 400, and 600) are approximately 2.7 million EUR, with an additional 300,000 EUR allocated for the kitchen. The contract will be awarded in stages, initially covering planning phases 1-4, with optional phases 5-9.
