Chattahoochee Technical College aims to upgrade its facilities at the Bartow County campus to better serve the workforce needs of the surrounding counties. The project focuses on Building C, a 32,623 sq. ft. facility constructed in 1989, which currently houses manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and diesel equipment classes and labs. The college plans to undertake significant renovations to provide additional training space and incorporate modern equipment in these high-demand career fields. The scope of work includes adding 1,866 sq. ft. of new space and renovating approximately 28,300 sq. ft. within the Industrial Maintenance and Diesel Equipment Technology Labs. These labs, having been retrofitted over the years rather than fully renovated, require a comprehensive overhaul to align with the latest technology and expand student capacity. The ultimate goal is to ensure the college can continue to provide up-to-date education and training, preparing students for successful careers with industry partners.
