Boyle County is undertaking a significant project to renovate and construct a fully functional facility for its Sheriff's Department and Emergency Management offices. The selected A/E firm will be responsible for a comprehensive two-phase programme. The initial Planning and Schematic Design phase involves assisting the County in defining the department's needs, including an analysis of the current site, a thorough assessment of space requirements for both present and future goals, and preliminary cost estimates covering site work, the building, and parking. This phase will also include preparing a construction timeline and developing conceptual architectural designs with site plans, elevations, renderings, and project schedules. Following approval of the schematic design, the firm will proceed to the Design Development phase, which encompasses the detailed design for the construction of the new facility. This will feature public areas, dedicated training spaces, administrative offices, and a convenient drive-through service for citizens to make tax payments.
