At the end of 2023 we published the initial Beedier Social Media Zeitgeist list, the first time that Social Media performance across the architectural sector in the UK and Ireland had been comprehensively accounted for. This is now the 7th quarterly interation of the list. We have reviewed over 7,500 architectural companies in the UK and Ireland, and have found that nearly 5,000 of them use social media accounts in some way to promote themselves. Of these, over 3,400 companies have more than 500 followers - the cut-off point for appearing on our Zeitgeist list.
You can browse page by page or jump to any company on the list by typing the name in the search prompt provided at the top. We hope this will prove useful over time in helping companies gauge the success of their social media strategies, against those of others. Our table demonstrates the movers and the shakers – who is growing their social media presence at a faster rate than others, and who is in decline?
Of course there are many reasons why follower counts might fall – perhaps internal priorities have meant that the gas is off the pedal when it comes to resourcing social media communications, a change of staff or approach, or perhaps social accounts have been closed down or pruned.
