Youth Hill Park Landscape Upgrade, Plovdiv
For the sustainable redevelopment of public spaces within Youth Hill Park, this open design competition was launched by the municipality of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The Municipality of Plovdiv has launched an open architectural competition for the sustainable redevelopment of public spaces within Youth Hill Park, one of the city’s emblematic green landmarks. Covering around 26k m² between the park’s eastern and south-western entrance, near the tennis courts The project must seek innovative, inclusive and environmentally responsible proposals that enhance accessibility, leisure, and landscape quality while preserving the mature tree canopy and natural topography. The winning concept will form the basis for the detailed investment design, guiding future construction works. The competition invites landscape architects and engineers to reimagine this historic urban park as a vibrant, sustainable public realm for Plovdiv’s residents and visitors.

Concept Design Drawings:
– Site Plan and Zoning Diagram (1:1.000 scale)
– Landscape/Architectural layout of representative park fragment (1:250 scale)
– 3 3D Visualisations
– Sections and elevations
– Public services/Paving detail
– Architectural design detail for park components (furniture, materials, etc.)
– Supporting graphics diagrammes
The selected team will be required to deliver a completed tecnical design upon negotiation.
