Little Chalfont Parish Council seeks architects to design a new pavilion and park upgrades at Westwood Park, Amersham.
Westwood Park is Little Chalfont Parish Council’s main outdoor sports and play facility, located in the Green Belt and within the Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, serving football, cricket, families and other park users. The council is progressing a rejuvenation project, with Phase 2 covering a replacement pavilion, improved car parking, new/relocated playground and exercise areas (designed by others, with the architect to define space and location), accessible footpaths, and associated landscape works, aiming to create a welcoming destination with public toilets and a café. The new pavilion is described as an approximately 700m² public access building including changing rooms, community rooms, parish offices, café and public toilets, designed to be inclusive, low maintenance, sustainable, and with no gas supply.
