Toila School Architectural Competition, Toila
This architectural competition invites proposals for a new school building and its associated outdoor spaces in Toila, Estonia. The existing school complex includes older structures, some of which will be demolished, while others (including a historic building with a tower) will be retained and integrated into the new design. The new school is intended for approximately 180-200 students and 35 teaching staff. The design must consider modern pedagogical principles, incorporate sustainable materials, foster a collaborative learning environment, and facilitate outdoor learning activities. The design should also integrate well with the existing landscape, which includes a historic park and a natural ravine, creating an appealing and functional public space.

The competition requires a digital submission only. The following materials must be submitted as printable PDF files:
– Graphic Part: drawings, diagrams, and visualizations. The format must be A1 landscape, allowing for printing if necessary.
– Explanatory Note: a written description of the proposal.
– Spatial Program: a table showing the required room program.
