Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has launched this procurement to establish a roster of practices for framework of architectural and engineering works. Rather than commissioning a single project, RSU is assembling a catalog of companies that may be invited to undertake future design assignments through call-off contracts under the general agreement, within a 3-year period. The multi-disciplinary consultant teams will support the ongoing transformation of its campus infrastructure across Latvia. The scope of works is divided between 2 lots, six design teams will be selected per lot, creating a pool of architects and specialists capable of delivering projects ranging from new buildings to the refurbishment, adaptation and energy-efficient upgrading of existing university facilities. Beyond the contracted works, the teams may be invited to undertake future design assignments through call-off contracts under the general agreement. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of price and the experience of key professionals, reflecting a procurement strategy intended to ensure both economic efficiency and design expertise as the university continues to expand and modernise its academic estate.
