St Werburghs City Farm in Bristol are looking for a community-focused team to consult with stakeholders, and bring together a high-level masterplan for the future of the farm.
St Werburghs City Farm is an urban farm offering volunteer opportunities, educational courses, targeted services and more, located in the heart of Bristol. The farm connects people through land, nature and food by engaging 60,000 volunteers, visitors and service users a year across 18 acres of urban green space with services that build self-esteem, improve health and wellbeing and reduce isolation. The trust is looking for a team to help the Farm to develop a plan for its redevelopment project. The plan needs to set out what the needs and aspirations are, and what the new spaces need to include - a document which could be given to architects or designers so that they could come up with designs for the redevelopment, and a high-level masterplan which we will need your help to pull together.

Submission Criteria
Apply in writing, setting out how you would approach this work and how long you think each phase will take. To include:
– Information about how you would approach each of the key activities and how many days you estimate each will take.
– Clarity about if you would want to suggest a different approach to the one suggested above.
– A sense of how you employ your skills in community consultation, in particular how you would bring together differing needs and views.
– How you would propose working with the Farm’s leadership team on this project.
– A bit about you/your team and who will take the lead on each aspect of the work.
– Your relevant previous experience.
– Your day rate/s, inclusive of any VAT.
Proposals should be no more than 3 sides of A4. You can include a CV or other document as an additional attachment to detail your experience, but the other key information needs to fit within 3 sides of A4 maximum.
