A new comprehensive school building is planned in Walsrode, Germany, for the Heidekreis district, providing modern educational facilities for lower secondary pupils within a general planning contract.
The Heidekreis District Authority (Landkreis Heidekreis) is commissioning the general planning for the new construction of the IGS Walsrode, a newly established school type for the district. The new school will be located adjacent to the existing Oberschule Walsrode on Ostdeutsche Allee. The project includes approximately 3,500 m² gross floor area (GFA) for years 5–8 of the five-stream school. Higher year groups, subject-specialised classrooms, the canteen, and administration will remain in the existing school buildings. The contract covers architectural design, structural and MEP engineering, landscape design, and specialist consulting disciplines. The project aims to create a sustainable and cost-efficient educational environment integrated within an existing school campus.

– Professional indemnity insurance (min. €3 million per claim)
Average annual turnover:
– Architectural services ≥ € 300k p.a. (avg 2022–2024)
– Technical services ≥ € 200k p.a. (avg 2022–2024)
– Proof of professional qualifications (architecture, structures, HLS, ELT, fire safety)
Three reference projects completed 2020–2025 (min. 2,000 m² BGF, comparable scope):
– Architectural project (LPH 2–8 §34 HOAI)
– TGA heating, ventilation and sanitary systems project (LPH 2–3, 5–8 §55 HOAI)
