LGBTQIA+ Hub
Belfast City Council seeks an architect-led consultant team for the redevelopment of 2 Royal Avenue into an inclusive LGBTQIA+ Hub, supporting a safer and more equitable city space.
The project involves the redevelopment of a listed heritage building in Belfast into a purpose-built LGBTQIA+ Hub. The project is funded under the PEACEPLUS programme and aims to create a safer, more inclusive city by providing spaces for offices, counselling, family support, and community activities. The appointed consultant team will deliver full architectural, conservation, engineering, quantity surveying, and project management services under an NEC4 PSC Option A contract, from RIBA Stage 2 to 7.

Pass/Fail Evaluation:
– Constructionline registration with minimum notation value of £40,000
– Public, employer’s (£10m) and professional indemnity insurance (£1m)
– ARB Registration for Architect(s)
– SSIP Health & Safety Certification
– No past performance, professional conduct or financial issues
– Two similar-scale/complexity projects within the last 7 years (RIBA Stage 3 or later)
