The Landkreis Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen is undertaking the general renovation of the triple sports hall in Gunzenhausen, Germany. This significant project involves comprehensive architectural services, covering all phases from preliminary design to construction supervision and defect rectification (LPH 1-9 according to HOAI 2021). The initial phase of the contract will focus on preliminary and basic design services (LPH 1+2), with subsequent stages contingent on the availability of funding. The estimated total gross cost for the project, excluding equipment and art, is approximately €18.029 million. The project aims to modernise the existing facility, addressing various aspects including structural integrity, technical systems, and interior spaces. Special considerations include fire protection, pollutant remediation, and integration with public funding procedures. The duration for the architectural services is estimated at 33 months, reflecting the complexity and multi-stage nature of the renovation.
