Peak Cluster NSIP Support, Peak District
Specialist consultants will assist the Peak District National Park Authority with its statutory consultee role on the UK's Peak Cluster NSIP. Deadline 19 Oct 2026
The Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) needs multidisciplinary consultancy support to fulfil its statutory consultee responsibilities for the Peak Cluster Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). This project involves a Development Consent Order (DCO) for the Peak Cluster Carbon Capture and Storage Pipeline, submitted by Peak Cluster Ltd. The required support spans project management, co-ordination, and administration, alongside specialist input in infrastructure planning, landscape, cultural heritage, archaeology, and ecology. The PDNPA is seeking a consultancy firm with comprehensive experience in the NSIP/DCO process. The consultancy will assist the PDNPA with its obligations under a Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) with Peak Cluster Ltd, covering the entire DCO process. Initially, funding is guaranteed for the Pre-Application Stage, with subsequent stages conditional on further funding agreements. The total estimated contract value reflects support for all stages of the application.
