The project involves the expansion of the St. Wolfgang School in Reutlingen, Germany, by adding a new full-day care building. The client, Stiftung Katholische Freie Schule der Diözese Rottenburg-Stuttgart, intends to extend the existing school centre. Planning for phases 1-4 has already been completed, and the building permit is in place. The application for funding under the "VWV Investment Programme for Full-Day Expansion" has been submitted, with the grant expected in Q2/2026. This funding obliges the client to conduct the project as a public client under § 99 GWB. Construction services will be awarded in individual contracts for each trade. A key objective is to achieve an economically optimised building in terms of planning, construction, and operation, meeting the client's requirements for architectural and functional implementation, cost-effectiveness (construction, operation, suitability, maintenance, sustainability, and innovative building technology). The contract covers services according to §§ 53 ff. HOAI, specifically phases 5-8 under § 55 HOAI, and potentially special services for plant groups 1, 2, 3, and 8. The engagement will be phased, with phases 5-7 directly commissioned, and phase 8 and special services being optional.
