The project aims to establish a forward-looking school centre at the existing Mittelschule Feistritz an der Drau site. This new development will consolidate the primary school, secondary school, and music school under a single, cohesive organisational and spatial concept. The initiative addresses declining student numbers, which have rendered the current building structure over-dimensioned for future requirements, thereby offering significant potential for functional reorganisation. This two-stage restricted design competition seeks architectural services, followed by a negotiation procedure for general planning. The objective is to create an integrated educational hub that efficiently utilises space and resources, providing a modern and adaptable learning environment for the community in Feistritz an der Drau.
