The city of Kalkar in Germany is progressing with the long-term implementation of its Integrated Action Plan (InHK) for the city centre, a key initiative under the North Rhine-Westphalia urban development funding programme. This project entails the continuation of comprehensive external project management and process control services for a period spanning from 2027 to 2032. The appointed team will provide essential support to the City of Kalkar, ensuring the successful execution of various sub-measures outlined in the InHK. Key responsibilities include robust project steering and coordination, encompassing detailed scheduling, efficient process control, and effective coordination among all project stakeholders. Additionally, the scope covers crucial support for procurement and commissioning processes. Financial oversight is also a core component, involving diligent grant management and cost control, including monitoring cost and fund flows, providing expert advice on funding regulations, and assisting with change requests and verification of usage. Furthermore, the role involves thorough documentation and reporting, producing regular status and final reports, and contributing to project-related public relations and public participation initiatives. All services will be delivered in close collaboration with the City of Kalkar and other involved parties.
