The Township of Bloomfield is procuring on-call general architectural assistance for its Engineering Department, Department of Public Works, and Township Administrator. This initiative aims to secure expert architectural services for various specific projects slated throughout the upcoming contract year. The scope of work will primarily involve modifications and renovations to existing public buildings, ensuring compliance with current accessibility (ADA) and building code (IBC) standards. Consultants will also address mechanical, structural, and HVAC requirements as needed for these public facilities. The successful architectural firm must be duly licensed to practise in the State of New Jersey and affiliated with the American Institute of Architects. Key qualifications include a thorough understanding of New Jersey Building Codes and relevant State Statutes, alongside demonstrable experience in designing public facilities. The selected firm will be required to provide professional liability, general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation insurance upon contract award. The consultancy term is scheduled from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027.
