The project involves the comprehensive engineering, including design, construction, and author supervision, for a new one-storey Community Centre for Early Childhood Development (CCECD) in Svishtov, Bulgaria. This facility will accommodate 30 children and feature a built-up area of at least 1000 square metres. The scope of work includes the demolition of all existing structures on the 11,974 square metre plot, followed by the construction of the new centre and extensive landscaping and park development for the surrounding outdoor space. Author supervision will be maintained throughout the construction and installation phases, adhering to local regulatory requirements. The initiative is partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and incorporates significant measures to mitigate environmental impact, such as promoting a circular economy, adapting to climate change, controlling pollution, and managing waste effectively. Furthermore, the project prioritises social objectives, ensuring accessibility for all, promoting gender equality, and establishing healthy and safe working conditions in line with applicable EU principles.
